What is the BAR (Blend After Roasting) method of roasting all about?
Because each type of coffee varies by size, density and moisture content, we know that it is necessary to roast only those beans of the same characteristic in order to achieve uniformity of color. Only coffees that have already been roasted are blended, and this method is what makes Waterfront coffee the best it can be. In addition to the BAR System, another advancement in roasting is the Bean/Roast Profile Program. We utilize flavor dampers to vary roast temperature during roast cycles based on the characteristics of each coffee type. Some beans require a hotter "start” to open and develop, whereas others require a more even flame. In this way, all beans are roasted to perfection each time, and the flavor and aroma remain captured in the coffee. It is the utilization of these two methods that make your coffee consistently superior.

We have been in business for almost 30 years.
Do you offer free or subsidized shipping?
Currently we do offer free ground shipping inside the continental US for orders of $65 or more. We also subsidize shipping on orders less than $65 by only charging the less expensive office/business delivery fee. If you are shipping to your home we are covering that additional charge.
Is Waterfront coffee gluten free?
Yes. All our coffee, including our dessert coffees are gluten free.
Are there any carbohydrates in your dessert coffees?
No. Our coffee and flavorings have no carbs and virtually no calories.

How much coffee should I buy?
We recommend that you to purchase more than 1 bag at a time because this can seriously reduce the cost to ship per unit. Also, because of how our coffee is packaged, buying more at once has no effect on the freshness of your coffee. We would recommend at least 4 bags of our 12oz coffee per month for a family, individual or office that makes at least 1 pot of coffee a day. Each bag produces approximately 6 pots of coffee or about 45 cups.
What's the best way to store my coffee?
The best way to store your coffee is in an air tight container in a cupboard. If you purchase multiple 12oz bags at a time, store them in the cupboard in our packaging. Once you open our packaging keep the remaining coffee in your air tight container. Purchasing whole bean coffee and grinding only what you need is the best way to maintain your coffee's freshness and flavor.
How long will it take to get my coffee?
This depends on where you live and the type of shipping you choose. It will also depend on when you submit your order. On average it's 2-7 business days from the time we ship your order via UPS. We endeavor to ship all orders no later then 48 hours after receipt as long as your coffee is available and freshly roasted. Since we roast in small batches your coffee might not be available when you order it. In that case we will roast your order and get it out asap. We always want to make sure that your coffee is as fresh as possible. Please note that any orders received just before or during the weekend or major holidays will be roasted and/or shipped on the next business day.
I didn't purchase my order and logged out of my account. How do I access my incomplete order?
Select My Account and you will see your order history. Your order will be in the Incomplete Orders. You can view, retrieve or delete it here. Please note that if you choose to finalize this previous order, even though you do not see any shipping options during the check out process, the system will ask you to select shipping once you've put in your information and continued. Then it will return you back to this check out page where you can make your purchase.
